Anniversary #5

Our 5th Anniversary is Aug. 1. Sarah says that's 35th in dog years. Our annual Shrimp Boil is on Sat. Those of you that got an invite, don't forget. Those of you that didn't get an invite but can read this are probably invited too. We always look forward to this. 

Slowly getting ready for the France adventure. Making lists, got housesitter lined up, got this blog up and running, figuring out the electronic needs (they use 220v over there). Not really doing much as far as planning an itinerary. We want no agenda. But, if anybody has favorite places to see, do, or eat at in the south of France, we are indeed open to suggestions. 

And, today is also the 2nd anniversary of my father's death. Raise one for Skeeter.

Our first post...

So, we made a blog. We have set this up in preparation and anticipation of our upcoming trip to France. This should  make life easier if we decide to keep our friends informed. Who want's travel logs??
